The Healing Buddha Center

The Healing Buddha Center is currently co-located within Sunlight of the Spirit. It is being established by Geshe Gyalten

to provide a center for the study of Tibetan Buddhist Dharma in the Gelug Tradition.

Gelug is one of the four schools of Tibetan Buddhism, and is the lineage of the Dalai Lama. 

Choden Rimpoche is a student of the Dalai Lama, and Geshe Gyalten is a student of Choden Rimpoche.
 

The focus of the Healing Buddha Center is to share and promote Eastern holistic healing techniques including Buddhist philosophy and Tibetan meditation to enable awakening of the soul.  The Healing Buddha, known as the Blue Medicine Buddha, established the goals of healing all sentient beings of both physical suffering and mental afflictions.

The grand opening celebration of the Healing Buddha Center on May 29th & 30th was an auspicious event. Geshe Gyalten shared a Medicine Buddha Blessing and offered a Tibetan Meditation retreat. Geshela will soon be resuming dharma teachings in Sacramento and the dates will be posted to the Sunlight of the Spirit public calendar as soon as dates are confirmed.
